Next · Multiplayer via the context layer of projects

We do the work for the startup.

Until now o0 set the goals and put the projects in priority order. This version does the work. Ten tasks on a project, and o0 takes seven — with little or no prompting, because the context layer already holds everything it would have asked for. That is what takes us from $8M to $80M ARR, and what lets us dominate the segment.

The Explore board · Tue 8 Sep · 07:12

o0 has picked what to do next.

The board is in order. o0 keeps it that way. Backlog has been triaged, the two cards up for debate already have research behind them. And there is one new card in Next up that Maya didn't write.

Independent physio clinics feel no-shows as lost income, and their owners will pay to cut them. Test whether the segment is receptive before we build for it.

I suggested this because three things line up:

  1. KR 1.1 is at 3 of 10 with nine weeks left, and every pilot so far is dental.
  2. 6 of your last 14 discovery calls were physio owners. Four raised no-shows before you asked. None raised billing.
  3. Nothing on the board tests a second segment. If dental stalls, you have no read on where to go.

What I'm not sure of: whether physio owners will pay, or just agree. That's what the project is for.

Why physio over dental? Dental has the budget.

Budget without urgency: 2 of 6 dental pilots converted in 30 days. Physio owners run the diary themselves, so a no-show is their money, not the practice's.

Outside your calls, US physio clinics report 9 to 14% no-shows, and most with under six practitioners have no tool for it. Ten calls is a cheaper way to confirm that than a build.

All ten calls are in. Against the hypothesis:

8 / 10
receptive to the idea
7 / 10
named a weekly loss, unprompted
5 / 10
would pay $149

Three things stood out:

  1. No-shows are felt as lost income, not admin. Seven owners put a weekly number on it before you asked.
    Hale Physio 04:12Motion Clinic 09:48+5
  2. Price is the objection, not the idea. All five who said no to $149 said yes to a trial; three named $80 to $100.

  3. The segment is narrower than we wrote. Every yes runs the diary personally. Both practice-manager clinics said no.

Yes. And flag anything that contradicts the dental pilots.

No-shows are lost income, and owners know the number.

Seven of ten named a weekly figure before we asked. The pain is real, named, and ours to solve.

Maya Lindqvist · with o0 · signed12 Sep

The idea sells. $149 doesn't.

Five of ten agreed to a paid pilot; three of the noes were on price alone. Test $99 with the next cohort.

Maya Lindqvist · with o0 · signed12 Sep

The segment is owners who run the diary themselves.

Two to six practitioners, owner on the desk. Practice-manager clinics don't feel it. Narrow the ICP.

o0 · unsigned11 Sep

Every yes runs a paper diary or Cliniko. None uses a no-show tool.

No competitor came up in ten calls. The alternative we're selling against is a phone call the day before.

o0 · unsigned · cross-project11 Sep

Dental owners never named a weekly loss.

Same feature, different pain. Noted against OBJ 1 for the dental pilot programme to test.

Five clinics said yes at a lower price. A $99 pilot with them takes KR 1.1 to 8 committed now, and to 10 if three convert inside 30 days.

I've drafted the agreement, the onboarding script and the first-week emails. You sign the agreement; I send the rest.

What would make you stop the pilot early?
o0 · 16:42

Two things. Fewer than two of the five have set up their diary by day seven, or no-shows don't move at all in the first two weeks. I'll check both weekly and raise it against KR 1.1 if either trips.
